Hello there
dear friend

Hello there, dear friend

I am Adelé, founder of Mooistevrou, a documentary Wedding Photographer, and a Graphic Designer.

You are, who you are in Christ. You have a purpose, you have a goal in this life, and my biggest wish in this whole wide world is that you discover YOU. We need to support each other, help each other, and really look out for each other - it's really not necessary to pull each other down and make one another feel unworthy. We should choose to be the better one, without pulling ourselves down.

Growing up, I learned so much during some really challenging parts of my life. During that journey, working through the challenges, I have learned that being yourself in a world that is constantly trying to change you, is so incredibly rewarding. God is with you all the way, He will never leave you nor forsake you. As a young girl, being mocked, manipulated, abandoned and just overall pushed down - I had to regain my self-worth and realize that I am who I am in Him, and that's enough. God started a journey with me where He taught me how to listen to His voice, how to obey, and how to choose between right and wrong. He taught me how wrong relationships can damage me, what it means to have the "right" people in your life - with that I mean, people who lift you up, who encourage you, who help you in right and wrong. He even taught me business skills without the needed qualifications at first. He has been the Father I never had.

Having wrong relationships in your life could do so much damage. I'm talking about friendships, family, and boyfriends - we miss the red lights because we don't want to make enemies. We don't want to hurt someone's feelings while our own feelings and life get turned around to accommodate other people.  It's so important to discover yourself first and make sure who you are as a person before you give away your heart to someone. I say this because if you would give your heart to the "wrong" person, there is so much damage and bits to be picked up again and the healing process is so much longer. "I've been there, done that. It's a painful process." I know what it's like to have NO friends, to be so broken down by a guy that you no longer know who you are. I know what it feels like when girls smear your name through the mud and spread stories about you that aren't even true. I know what it's like to have NOTHING and to struggle financially in such a way that you don't know where you're going to end up. Growing up with a single mommy definitely teaches you maturity and life understanding – I wouldn't have wanted it differently. One realizes that life carries so much more value than the stuff we so desperately cling to. You don't have to fit in with the rest. You can stand out and be proud of who you are and where you come from, with or without friends, money, fame...

Mooistevrou started three years ago, as an idea to be a voice for women, and help suppliers. A concept that originated as a Facebook page from which I could only share "quotes". After about 100 followers, I'll never forget the following words to my mother: "If only 600 to 1000 women will "like" the page, it will be enough". I was shocked when it grew by the day, and reached over 30,000 women months later. NEVER did it matter about the likes, and the number is not important, but I wanted to, and still want to, help as many women as possible through what I learned. Most importantly, I want women to know there is a GOD, and HE HAS AN INCREDIBLE PLAN FOR YOU! With this I can testify that if God has appointed something for you, and you walk in His will, ask Him for guidance, HE will open the right doors to you. He will make things happen beyond your strength and power. With HIM you will be successful, He will lift you up if you always remain humble, and He will take care of you - every dear day.

May you know how grateful I am that you are a part of the Mooistevrou page, may you always grow and know how important your role is in this life. Just be yourself, be the example for someone else, be the hand for someone, the help, and the advice - you might be the only Bible someone gets to read. Protect your heart at all times, but always keep your heart gentle and kind. You are everything and more.

With much love,

Adele
