Self-Love.
Discovering how to love yourself in a healthy way.
What is self-love?
"Self-love, at its core, is self-acceptance. It is the ability to accept all parts of you: the fun, happy, joyful, positive grateful parts of you,
as well as the worried, anxious, shy, jealous, angry parts of you. The ones that you’d rather ignore and push under the carpet until they hopefully die and disintegrate into nothingness. (They don’t trust me on this). Now, self-love is also: Self-care., Self-worth. , Self-belief.
Self- well… everything. It is the deep knowing and feeling that you are an incredible, unique being, that you have so much to offer to the world, and that there is so much love, so many opportunities, so much LIFE available to you…If you could only see it." - By Céline Harleaux
The Bible teaches us not to be selfish and self-centered, but it also teaches us to take care of ourselves. Having a healthy and clear mind, being healthy physically and emotionally is what God desires for us. He wants us to live a life full of abundance and goodness, He wants us to live a long healthy life.
Self-love is not selfish, it's the best thing you can give yourself - why? Because when your cup is full and overflowing you will be able to be a blessing to someone else, you will be able to help someone else. Setting boundaries, working towards your dream, getting your life where you want it to be is GOOD. It's a good thing to make time for yourself, to look after yourself,
it's a good thing to look and feel good. Self-love is also understanding your worth to not compromise in what you believe and what you stand for.
Isaiah 32:17 - And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance forever.

The resources :)
My life has changed since the day I decided to change. My self-love journey started when I realized that I need to make some changes in my life. I wanted to be healthier, happier and goal-orientated like I was previously in my life, and when I got introduced to the self-love journey I knew I had to share what I have learned!
You see, I had to discover my WHY, and when I realized my WORTH my world changed. For instance, saying no was one of the hardest things for me to do, I struggled so much with it - I always felt if I say no, I would get rejected and disrespected, but it's actually the opposite because when you learn to stand up for yourself, you give room for people to respect you and you don't allow them to walk all over you. When you set strong boundaries in your life, you let people understand that you are worthy and your time is precious.
Now, the bible also teaches us to be humble, kind, and loving towards people and we should live to serve others.
AND YES we should, but if our cup is empty all the time, we'll don't have anything to offer them!
